Explore "Okushizu"
Okushizu is the northern area of Shizuoka. Although Shizuoka city is the capitol of Shizuoka prefecture, you drive 30 minutes from urban area and can enjoy nature in "Okushizu." Shizuoka is also historical place. Tokugawa Ieyasu loved the place and stay at Shizuoka(Sunpu) after the retired. So there are a lot of places related to him, such as Kunozan Toshogu, Shizuoka sengen shrine, If you go to east side of Japan, there is a world heritage site, Mihono Matusbara. One day is not enough to explore Shizuoka
